Our History
Founded in 2025, the Carolina Bight Birding Center emerged from a passionate commitment to education and working with local groups to discuss possible areas for research or study in The Carolina Bight. Over the years, we have grown into a vital resource for birdwatchers, families, and nature enthusiasts. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we operate with the support of our community, dedicated volunteers, and generous donors who share our vision for a vibrant and sustainable environment.
